The No Longer 3/5ths Coalition is gearing up for signature gathering in September-November to get felony voting rights restoration on the ballot! The legislation, [S 8 / H 26], filed by Sen. Miranda and Rep. Uyterhoeven, made it out of committee and is on the legislative calendar for October.

We need to gather over 75,000 signatures from across the state, and, given the legislative lull, it is MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER that we hit this goal and prove to legislators that their constituents care about this issue. 

People in prison could vote until a 2000 ballot initiative took their right away. It is time to right that wrong!

We are holding our first meeting online on Thursday, July 20, from 6-7pm to gather organizers who can help coordinate a network of volunteers who will gather signatures.
